2007 Awards Criteria: The manager awards recognize firms that have demonstrated an effort to find solutions tailored to public fund investors, an increase in assets under management from retirement plan clients over the past year and impressive performance. Emerging managers have less than $3 billion under management. Criteria for marketers include a substantial amount of new business won from public pension funds, attentive client service and strong knowledge of their firm's investment strategies. The consultant award will go to a person with a substantial base of public fund clients who thoroughly understands the industry and their clients, and who is open-minded and innovative.
